Nostalgia
Found this post / article on the Geek Dad’s blog this morning.
I’ve been on vacation for the last week and a half, which should have meant more blog entries and has actually meant less. Since our trip to the land of the Mouse got cancelled, we decided to stick around home for most of the two weeks. Rosie actually went to work last week until Thursday, since there was no real reason for her to burn her vacation time. (She has the Hike-a-Thon coming up next month) I have got to spend a bunch of time with Isaac, which has been a blast.
We did take a road trip to Seaside and then down to my parents this last weekend. I think that will be the last trip to Seaside for non-radio events. The weather was horrible again and it was just boring. But Isaac had fun, he spent nearly all Saturday playing on the beach. (had even got a little sun burnt, where we missed the sun screen) We had a good time at my parents, Isaac discovered the tire swing in the back field and LOVED it. What is really funny is that this tire swing has been in that tree since I was just a little older then Isaac. My sister and I played on it, my niece (who is now 14) played on it and finally Isaac is getting his turn.
