New Belt….
August 24th, 2012So my TKD bear got a new belt at the last nights ceremony. I wanted to thank everybody at Mercer Island Martial Arts for helping me recover so quickly from my knee accident. It is hard to believe it was almost six months ago that I tore my ACL. I know having a goal of coming back and all the encouragement helped me get here.
I’m now in count down mode, I have five weeks until I’m ‘officially’ healed. Yes, the date is a bit arbitrary. Yes, my surgeon even admitted as much. But its official, he waved his hands and everything. :-)
BTW – I find all the rumors and guessing quite amusing. (About the new iPhone)
August 23rd, 2012I've learned that the rumors are typically either 100% wrong or 100% dead on, but there seems to be no way to tell which it is going to be. So I just ignore most of it and wait for announcement day. I will either be WOW'd or decide to pass. (Jump from 3GS to 4 was immediate, but I saw no need to go from 4 to 4S)

Booked the reservations for Isaac and my camping trip this weekend
August 22nd, 2012I thought since Rosie left for a 10 day backpacking trip on Wonderland trail, we would also go camping. Our camp site is rated 4.5 stars, has free WiFi, room service and a pool.
