Long weekend up

So far it has been a pretty nice weekend, except the weather could be a little better. Yesterday Rosie did her last big hike of the summer, so Isaac and I hung out all day. Isaac is all about riding his bike now, so he rode around and around the garage and driveway on Saturday while I put together my new antenna. Around 10:30 we took off to do a little shopping and go to the park for lunch. We hit Target (for a picture frame), Staples (for file folders) and Fry’s (for a another backup drive and replacement headphones) before having lunch at the park. Isaac was pretty wiped and ended up falling asleep eating his chicken strips. So we came home and he crashed for his afternoon nap and I caught up on bills. I think we were outside again when Rosie finally got home.

Today has been about cleaning up and catching up on all the little things. I got my desk cleared finally and most of the filing done. I still need to finish the monthly bill paying activities. I just got done giving Isaac a bath and set him up with his playdo. We are all going hiking tomorrow, which should be a hoot.

Another long week…

First I’d like to shout one out to Ben, “you suck”.

With that said, I just spent two very long days running around helping make a fire drill happen. This was one of those rare fire drills, where all other fire drills had to step aside and wait. In some ways it was nice to be focused, but still it was a fire drill.

With that I’m going to go get in my PJ’s, read Isaac a book and crash with my little man. I’m tired….
