Bag Replacement
So I’ve been using this backpack that Rosie got me for hiking to get my stuff back and forth to work for almost two years now. I switched to it one day, when the bag Amazon ‘issued’ me wouldn’t hold something. I had never liked the original Amazon bag, it just looked lame and the hiking bag was OK. But I’ve been wanting to switch to a new bag for a while, but hadn’t found anything I liked.
In a nut shell, I wanted a bag which was organized inside, but also had enough space to jam in big stuff when needed. The bike messager bags tend to met these requirements pretty well, but I didn’t want to go back to a shoulder bag. I gave up on them a long time ago because they were killing my shoulders.
So yesterday Rosie, Isaac and I made trip to REI store in Redmond. We needed to pick up some stuff for our upcoming camping trip / Field Day. While I was wondering around, I saw this interesting looking Keen bag on top of a pile of other stuff. I picked it up and was simply amazed by it. Basically they took a messager bag insides and managed to twist them around to work in a backpack. It is actually a bit smaller then my hiking backpack, but it more then makes up for it in how they organized the inside.
Anyhow I love my new backpack!
