Made a serious dent in the todo list this weekend
1) D-Star repeater is back on the air. (sort of) Had to rebuild the whole box because I maxed out the writes on the CF card I was using. I spent a little time researching how to prevent this from again or at least how to slow it down. Only big thing left to-do is compile and install ircDDBGateway, but I can do that at work tomorrow.
2) Removed three garage cans of pine needles from the backyard. I can't believe how thick they were in some places. Really sad part, I don't have a single pine tree on my property.
3) My MacbookPro now has a SSD drive and the original drive is moved to the DVD slot. (I've not used the DVD for anything since buying the MBP) For the record, it does make a huge difference!
4) Replaced the outside light that I broke tearing down the deck this summer. I was getting a little worried about it with all the rain last week and this weekend. While the wires were not exactly exposed, it was still pretty open. Now I have a nice motion sensor light back there.
5) Started the huge task of cleaning up the garage. I have about 5 months of just dumping stuff to clear out. Managed to clear out enough of a path to get from one side to the other. Still need another half day to finish. Right now several other projects are blocked until I can finish cleaning it up. (installing wife's b-day present (new stereo for her truck, with iPhone docking), replacing the garage door spring that snapped two weeks ago and finally finishing the fog lights on the FJ)
Not much will probably happen this week and next weekend I'm heading down to Oregon for the Rickreal hamfest. Maybe I'll eventually get back to the NW-MESH project, I'd really like to put all the pieces together, so I can install the Bullet on the tower the next semi-nice day we have. The window of time for 'nice days' is closing pretty quickly!
