@bernard_ben Nope – decided the 4s was still not worth the extra money. I’m waiting for the new sexy-ness from Apple. :-)
Wow!

"Ever wonder what camera gear NASA astronaut Don Pettit uses to shoot his amazing photographs from the International Space Station? Here’s a portrait of Don floating around on with his massive collection of Nikon DSLRs and lenses. How much of the gear can you identify?

The suspend button 'wore out'. Well known problem according to the tubes. Phone is just about two years old.
Can't beleive how long the restore took. Still finding things that need passwords and stuff like that. Seems that Apple doesnt store any app metadata when you backup.

At SeaTec – on my way to San Jose for Velocity conference.
Washington for a weekend of camping and playing with radios. Instead we are still waiting for the plumber to show up and fix the brand new hot water heater. Did I mention it is pouring outside? Just checked the weather report and its calling for thundershowers tomorrow in E. WA.
Thinking about curling up on the couch and taking a nap. Maybe it will fix itself?

Just had to power down my linux dev box at work, since Seattle Power is going to be messing with our building this weekend. It had been up for 381 days, basically since I moved groups last year…..

@bernard_ben That is the plan – no more sleeping in a tent when it’s snowing!
I drove to Greed, WA this afternoon, to check out the cabin I rented for Field Day weekend. The cabin is located in the Snoqualmie National Forest, about 2.5 hours of Seattle. I found out today, it is right next to the American river. I made the reservations way back in December, without ever actually seeing the site.
Overall I think it is going to be good, I was hoping for something with a little more privacy, but everything else is great. (When shooting lines to put up antennas, you really don't want lots of people around) The cabin has power, heat and a real kitchen. We'll just have to pack in our own water.
