Upgraded my iMac to Mountain Lion tonight. Just as painless as the MBP last week…..
I took this week off work, originally it was because we didn't have a daycare option for Isaac. But I got him into Lego Camp this week, so I'm using the time to tear down our deck. I'm going to pay someone to re-build it, but doing the tear down is easy enough, at least so I thought.
My original plan was to be done with the tear down in one day. From the pictures, you can see I'm not even close and I'm calling it a day. I have to go wash off the dirt and crud, so I can go to TKD practice tonight. Maybe tomorrow things will go faster.
In my defense, I am taking the time to pull all the nails and move all the debris to trailer. It will make cleaning up easy, since I'll just start making trips to the dump as I fill up the trailer. Once the deck is gone, I still have to rent a jackhammer and break up the concrete pads as well. That isn't going to be fun….

Just got back from breakfast with @bernard_ben at Malty’s Cafe, they have some seriously good food. (And it was nice to see Ben!)
I can’t sync or pull down kindle books, been happening for last 20 minutes! Someone should fix that…
So happy this morning! I finally made it to Specialities for one of my favorite egg sandwichs for breakfast!

@dmv I would pay $100 for two weeks of live streaming!
Having trouble staying focused long enough to get anything done…..
Just installed @waze on my mobile phone – it’s a free navigation app with fun gaming & social elements! http://t.co/weq7Of6u
Just found a 3.5 floppy disk, in a file folder, in a corner of my office that probably hasn't been touched since we moved into the house ten years ago.
I'm not sure what is more amazing:
1) I was able to locate a working floppy drive to read it. (USB)
2) My 2011 iMac had no problems mounting and reading the disk.
3) That the disk was still valid!
4) That I have no idea why I saved these files?
