I know that I’ve been freaking over this fence, but it is just such a huge thing and I didn’t want to let it get half done and then not quite finish it. So last night I was able to finish putting the last two rails up and complete the basic structure of the fence. Just in time for the rain to start actually, its been pouring since last night.
Now I need to place the order for the vertical board to finish the fence, I figured it is going to take ~160 fence board to cover the span. (at $2.50 a pop) I’ll get them ordered tomorrow, so they’ll be here when the weather gets nice again.
So everybody has heard of the crazy Amazon tradition that people have door desks. The idea is to help remind us of our frugal ways. Whatever.
Well last week I found a rare and cool item, a ergo door desk that had been left behind after a recent group moved. These things don’t exist any more and are really very cool, so I snagged it. Over the weekend I came in and “moved” it into my cube. It is ugly and a mess, but I have my cool desk.
